Zubaida Trail is an award-winning documentary tracing a historic pilgrimage path shaped by faith, travel, and exchange across centuries.

Darb Zubaydah stretches over 1,400 km from Kufa to Makkah. For centuries, it guided pilgrims and traders across the desert, shaped by the vision of Zubaydah bint Ja‘far, who established wells, reservoirs, and rest stations to make the journey safer and accessible.

Reliving this historic path with my camel Princess, and welcomed like family along the way, I witnessed a living heritage of unity and human connection — enduring beyond time and distance. More than a path, Darb Zubaydah is a living legacy: a symbol of unity, generosity, and hospitality that continues to define the Kingdom.
